Community Talent- JaBare’ Ousley a.k.a Aviated Visuals
Hello Royalties! As I promised myself while creating my vision for www.carmenashante.com -not only did I want to interview and feature celebrities /Public Figures but I also wanted to show recognition to the talent that’s right in our community. With that being said, please join me in getting to know our first ‘Community Talent’ on the site- JaBare’ Ousley.
JaBare’-artistically known as Aviated Visuals- is a 27 year old visual artist whom creates drawings and art that is out of this world! He is the youngest of four brothers and was born in Jackson, MS currently living in Dallas, TX. JaBare’ continues to pursue greatness and his passions through his art.
CA: How long have you been drawing and creating art?
AV: I have been creating art since as young as I can remember. would like to say around 6 or 7. I remember getting in trouble for drawing in class, attending art classes, workshops on the different forms of art, and summer camps since elementary school
CA: What do you feel when you draw?
AV: Well, I feel like Im creative out of body experience at times. When I create, I feel like it’s just me, my work, possible music and a vision that must be created! Art helps me through the bad times-it’s my release.
CA: What and who inspires you?
AV: Life endeavors inspire me more more than anything. I get inspired by my emotions, movies, music, news, urban/pop culture and the slights things like nature. The artist that inspired me growing up were Kevin A. Williams, Frank Morrison, Charles Wright and the great African creatives that came before me-such as Basquiat, Pharrel, and Aaron McGruder (The Boondocks creator).
CA: On a personal level, how would you describe yourself?
AV: I’m a down to Earth, modern Renaissance man that likes many facets of art and enjoying myself amongst family, friends and the presence of beautiful women.
CA: What are your dreams?
AV: My dream is to create a that critically acclaimed piece that becomes a testiment to time and culture shock. + Achieve the American Dream on my own terms. Outside that I dream of having a workshop that includes different outlets for creative that includes a the teaches the business side of the spectrum. Since, thats usually breaking factor for most creatives
CA: What would you like your fans and viewers to know about you?
AV: I want my fans, the viewers, and the world to know that I'm human just like them. I want them to understand that this is more than a hobby. It’s something I'm passionate about and as well as therapy.
CA: What advice would you give the Kings and Queens out there that are pursuing greatness-Like yourself?
AV: I would say don’t listen to the naysayers, doubters, and non-believers. If you believe in yourself and put the work in-anything is possible. Nothing comes over night but with persistence, commitment, dedication and consistency-in due time- it will. You have to believe and have faith with a dose of patience.
